RHODA was born the oldest daughter of Brannick and Mary on March 18, 1859 on her parents' farm on Peach Creek, Fayette County, Texas. She died at her home in the Riggs Settlement, Cochise County, Arizona on July 16, 1929 and is buried in the Riggs Family Cemetery.

RHODA's PARENTS

Rhoda's father was Brannick Riggs, born July 10, 1828 in Marion, Perry County, Alabama. He died at his home, the Riggs Home Ranch, Cochise County, Arizona on July 4, 1907 and is buried in the Riggs Family Cemetery. (1h)

Rhoda's mother was Mary Elizabeth (Robbins) Riggs, born July 27, 1838 in Franklin, Williamson County, Tennessee. She died at her home, the Riggs Home Ranch, Cochise County, Arizona on February 5, 1935 and is buried in the Riggs Family Cemetery. (1g)

Brannick and Mary were married on July 10, 1856 in Bastrop, Bastrop County, Texas and had eleven children. RHODA was their second child, first daughter.

RHODA was engaged to be married to William wolf but he was lost in the Rio Grande River and she never married.
